Injectables
Cosmetic injectables are a safe way to soften unwanted lines and wrinkles and improve the contours of the face. Botox and Dysport are similar products that relax the muscles that cause frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet. Juvederm, Voluma, Perlane, Restylane and Sculptra are dermal fillers that add shape and volume wherever needed around the face. Dermal fillers are commonly used to enhance the cheeks, chin, jawline and lips; they can also be used to fill in deep facial folds.
Patients love treatment with cosmetic injectables because it is quick, non-invasive and does not require any downtime. The effects last for several months and repeat treatment is recommended to maintain the results.
Skin Resurfacing
Skin resurfacing improves a variety of cosmetic concerns, including textural irregularities and uneven pigmentation. Depending on the specific resurfacing technique used, treatment can improve wrinkles, freckles, sun spots and sun damage, scars, visible blood vessels, facial redness and loss of skin tone. The treatment involves removing the damaged outer layer of skin to reveal fresh, healthy skin cells.
Spider Vein Treatment
Dr. Raj offers safe, effective and virtually painless treatment for spider veins, which are those small clusters of blue, red or purple veins that crop up on the legs. Vein removal can be accomplished with laser technology or through a traditional technique known as sclerotherapy, which involves the injection of a special liquid agent that destroys veins.

Facial Peels
A facial peel is the practice of applying a topical product to damaged or aging skin, causing it to slough off and reveal fresh, improved-looking skin. Mild peels can be self-administered at home, while more powerful peels are performed in the plastic surgeon’s office using special chemical solutions.
Facials
Facials are a non-invasive treatment to pamper and nourish the skin. During a facial, the skin is cleansed, exfoliated and moisturized to give it a radiant glow. The esthetician can customize the elements of the treatment to the unique needs of the patient. Some people schedule regular facials as part of their skin care routine, while others reserve facials for special occasions.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive treatment in which a diamond-tipped wand is used to remove the top layer of dead skin cells, revealing fresh and healthy skin underneath. Microdermabrasion can improve the appearance of superficial flaws, including fine lines, wrinkles, crow’s feet, sun spots and more.

Latisse®
Latisse is a topical product for the treatment of inadequate, thin or light eyelashes. It is only available by prescription with a physician like Dr. Raj. When applied regularly, Latisse thickens, lengthens and darkens the lashes. The product was actually discovered by accident; a version of Latisse was used as a glaucoma treatment, and patients that took it realized their eyelashes became longer and lusher over time. Latisse should be applied sparingly at night, with results appearing after two months. The eyelashes return to their former state if Latisse use is discontinued.
